Trail information

The trails here are primarily for hikers and mountain bikers. There are lots of trail options in this beautiful woodland tract of 1,000 acres with a beautiful lake and excellent trails. The trails are well marked and maintain with paved trailhead parking, restrooms and covered picnic facilities. The terrain is very gentle with some rolling hills but nothing strenuous. After a one-hour rain delay at a nearby Dunkin Donuts, the skies clear completely and began our hike. We hiked the segments of the 100 and 200 trails and the entire length of the newly opened 250 segment which joins the 100 and 200 trails at the northern end of Turner Reservoir (see trail map). Even after a moderate one-half inch rain just prior to the beginning of the hike, we encountered few wet or muddy areas or crossings. The trails have excellent drainage with few protruding rocks or roots. Total hiking distance today was 5.5 miles with a few moderate hills. We rate it moderately easy with gentle hills

Directions

Take Hwy 129 N out of Cleveland for about 2.5 mi and turn right on Albert Reid Rd. (old skating and bowling building) continue 2.3 miles to Yonah Preserve on the right. Another great day for a hike! WILD
