Edmonds Trail - Black Rock Mtn.

Trail information

Our hike today began at the Edmonds Trail / Tennessee Rock parking lot at Black Rock Mtn. State Park just north of Clayton, GA. We hiked the Edmonds Trail which is a moderately hilly 7.2 mile loop. Another beautiful hiking day! Cloudy 65-75 degrees F. Nice woodland trail with creeks, falls, and a beautiful overlook at Lookoff Mtn.! Flora viewed - Closed Gentian, Christmas Fern, and Galax. Fauna identified - Chickadee, Piliated Woodpecker, Black Vulture, Junco, and Crows
