Sosebee Cove Sign on HWY 180 near Wolfpen Gap. You will see this huge Buckeye tree a short distance into the hike. Flame Azaleas were in full bloom. There are several small creeks and waterfalls. The Coosa Backcountry Trail is actually a 12.7 mile loop. We hiked out a portion of the trail and had lunch. Our group on the Coosa Backcountry trail.
