  • Sosebee Cove Sign on HWY 180 near Wolfpen Gap.
  • You will see this huge Buckeye tree a short distance into the hike.
  • Flame Azaleas were in full bloom.
  • There are several small creeks and waterfalls.
  • The Coosa Backcountry Trail is actually a 12.7 mile loop. We hiked out a portion of the trail and had lunch.
