Bartram Trail - Highway 28 to Beyond Adeline Ford

A really great day for a hike with wonderful, cool & clear weather. The trail was in excellent condition and we had a cheerful group of 15 hikers. This is an easy hike over mostly gentle rolling inclines and good views of the Chatooga River along the trail. Just a few late-season wood asters along the first part of the trail, but no wildflowers this time of year. There were patches of color from a few trees, mostly black gum, I think?
