Bartram Trail - Hickory Knoll Rd to The Pinnacle near Otto, NC

Although a cold morning, this was a great day for a hike. This hike is moderately strenuous with a mostly continuous climb to The Pinnacle. The trail was in very good condition and provided good views through the now bare trees. While there is no established access trail to the peak of The Pinnacle, a couple of us climbed to the peak via the east slope. We met two other hikers who made a one-way hike of this trail by starting at Buckeye Creek. This one-way path looks like a good idea for a future hike.
