AT - Woody Gap to Intersection of Dockery Lake Trail

Another nice, 6.4 mile hike with partly cloudy skies and temperatures mostly in lower 70's. Not a terribly difficult hike with one climb over Big Cedar Mtn. Typical AT trail with some rocks and roots, but not really that bad. Two good overlooks at Preacher's Rock and another on a short, unmarked side trail to a camping area. For late summer, a good variety of wildflowers.
