Tom Moody Loop Trail

It was a mostly cloudy morning with temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s. "The Tom Moody Loop Trail is located in the Picture Canyon Natural and Cultural Preserve, a beautiful canyon, within city limits of Flagstaff, AZ. In addition to significant Northern Sinagua petroglyphs and other cultural resources, an agreement with the nearby Wildcat Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant ensures a year-long water source, providing critical riparian habitat for wildlife and songbirds, as well as Flagstaff's only waterfall! This hike around the entire preserve provided views of the canyon, the lush riparian area, and the main "Water Bird" petroglyph site." It was an easy hike on well- maintained and mostly open and flat trails. Today's Hikers: Renee Robson, Jim Robson, Jon Robson, Scott Bell, Jenny Bell and Mike Bell.
