Raven Cliffs Trail Near Helen, GA This week's hike was on the Raven Cliffs Falls Trail to Raven Cliffs Falls
Directions
Take GA 75 north from Helen for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto GA 356(75 Alternate) and travel 2.3 miles to the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway. Turn right and travel 2.8 miles to the trailhead sign and parking area on the left. Another great day for a hike! Hiking distance - 5.6 miles. WILD

Very sunny and humid although the temperature only ranged from 74-83.

Leaving the parking area. Headed out to Raven Cliffs Falls! Crossing the footbridge over Dodd Creek! The Valentine Tree is still there. The trail stays close to Dodd Creek most of the way. This plant is somewhat of a nuisance but it has a pretty blossom.. There are several nice waterfalls along the trail to Raven Cliffs. The massive cliffs of Raven.
