Raven Cliffs Trail - Near Helen, GA
This week's hike was on the Raven Cliffs Falls Trail to Raven Cliffs Falls
Directions
Take GA 75 north from Helen for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto GA 356(75 Alternate) and travel 2.3 miles to the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway. Turn right and travel 2.8 miles to the trailhead sign and parking area on the left. Another great day for a hike! Hiking distance - 5.1 miles. WILD

Our trailhead today. 5 mi round trip Crossing Dodd Creek The trail along Dodd Creek has lots of rushing water and small waterfalls. The heavy cloud cover gave us low light. Mushroom of the Week The Wild Hydrangeas were blooming. We arrive at Raven Cliffs! Massive rock cliffs with waterfall!
