Today's hike was at Unicoi State Park near Helen, GA. Starting at City Park in Helen hiking to the Lodge at Unicoi State Park
Directions
Just north of downtown Helen, GA City Park is on the right. Instead of starting at City Park, you can also choose to start at the Lodge at Unicoi State Park. Another great day for a hike! WILDFLOWERS: Blue Lobelia, Green-headed Coneflower, Goldenrod, White and Blue Asters, White Snakeroot, Spotted Jewelweed

The start of today's hike at Helen City Park. The trail is very well marked. Much of the trail is alongside Smith Creek.. Another marvel of nature! Nice signage all along the trail. Beautiful Smith Creek Another great day for a hike! Green-headed Coneflower.. Mushroom of the week! At Unicoi Lodge, we see some folks ziplining. Lots of activities available at Unicoi State Park!
