Victoria Bryant State Park Trails - GA
Today's hike was on the trails at Victoria Bryant State Park near Royston, GA.
Trail information
Victoria Bryant State Park has a very nice network of hiking trails. The Perimeter Trail Loop, The Broad River Loop, Victoria's Path Nature Trail along with connector and access trails. All together around 10 miles to choose from. The trails are well maintained and feature rolling terrain and nice river and woodland views. Distance hiked - 5.7 miles - difficulty - Moderate
Directions
Victoria Bryant State Park is located between Lavonia and Royston on Highway 327. There is a $5 per car parking fee or a Georgia State Parks Pass. Another great day for a hike! Sunshine. Temp: mid 30s to upper 40s

The start of our hike today. The trail starts out along the shore of Fishing Pond #1 A group of Mallard and hybrid ducks greet us. Mallard Duck rising! There is still some nice color along the trail! Trying to decide which way to go. There are lots of trail options. We had a nice group of 15 hikers today. This portion of trail has lots of creek views. An American Holly loaded with berries leaning over the creek. Footbridge over the river. Boulder-filled area of the creek. Beautiful reflections on the fishing pond. The OFHC gang for today's hike.
