Raven Cliffs Trail and Dukes Creek Trail GA
Today's hike was on the Raven Cliffs Trail and Dukes Creek Trail in White County, GA
Directions
Take GA 75 north from Helen for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto GA 356(75 Alternate) and travel 2.3 miles to the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway. Turn right and travel 2.8 miles to the trailhead and parking area on the left. The Dukes Creek Falls parking area is about 1.5 miles before Raven Cliffs on the left. Another great day for a hike! Hiking distance - 7.2 miles. WILD
Conditions
Mostly fair, mild with temperatures ranging from 67-75 with a nice breeze.

Trailhead sign Crossing Dodd Creek . The trail follows this creek all the way. One of many small waterfalls along the way. An absolutely beautiful trail! Mushroom season is starting. Typical view along the trail! We carefully climb the steep slope to the base of the cliffs. Raven Cliffs Falls! Posing at Raven Cliffs! We are always amazed at the determination of trees around boulders! Now we move over to Dukes Creek Falls Trail with lots of Mountain Laurel. The 1.1 mile trail leads to two awesome waterfalls. (this one formed by Davis Creek) This one is formed by Dodd and Dukes Creek. The OFHC gang for today's hike.
