The Chattooga River Trail - Lick Log Falls - SC/GA

Today's hike was on the Chattooga River Trail on the border of GA and SC. We hiked northward from the Highway 28 Bridge to Lick Log and Pigpen Falls and back. Total round trip of 9 miles

Directions

The trailhead is on Highway 28 between Walhalla, SC and Highlands, NC. The parking lot is on the SC side of the 28 bridge. This is the border of GA / SC. Another great day for a hike! Hiking distance - 9 miles

Conditions

Sunny and warm with temperatures ranging from 58-84 degrees F.
