Lick Log Creek, SC

Trail information

Our hike today was on the Chattooga River Trail / Bartram Trail starting at the parking lot on the SC side of the HWY 28 Bridge. We hiked up to Lick Log Creek Falls and just beyond to the intersection of the Foothills Trail

Directions

Take Hwy. 28 between Highlands, NC and Walhalla, SC and drive to the Hwy. 28 Bridge (Russell Bridge) and park in the parking lot on the SC side of the bridge. Fauna identified: Red Salamander, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Black and White Warbler, Pileated Woodpecker, White Breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Wren, Robin. Another beautiful hiking day! Cloudy with morning rain, becoming partly cloudy with lows in the 40's and highs in the 50's F. Total hike approx. 8 miles
