Sourwood Trail at Lake Russel

Thanks to Renee Corbett, Ray Lovett and Lynn Steele for this AllTrails GPX file and pictures. Our hikers seemed to have enjoyed a fairly short and easy hike on the familiar Sourwood Trail in the Lake Russell Recreation Area with reasonably cool (80's) temperatures. With all the ongoing heat and limited rain, it doesn't appear Nancytown Falls was especially showy. Renee reported she, Shelia, Gita and Teresa extended their hike along the southern shore of Lake Russell. I think their hike totalled closer to 5.3 miles.
